The XK 120 was Jaguars first sports car since the since the SS 100 was discontinued in 1940. It was offered in two versions one being the open roadster also known as the OTS and the FHC also known as the Hard-top. The designation of XK120 was XK being the engine lay out and the 120 being for the cars being tested at 120MPH. The XK120 was the fastest production car in the world for some time.
