The third and final series of the XJS debuted in 1991 with updates including a new 4.0 Liter straight 6-cylinder engine, revised rear brakes and more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. Both elegant and sporty, the XJS represents a significant piece of Jaguar history with over 115,000 cars manufactured, by far the biggest production success for Jaguar up to that point. The XJS Cabriolet was the top of the line Jaguar at its time and came highly optioned with every Jaguar amenity for its targeted discerning buyer. This XJS is in excellent condition throughout, a solid example that runs strong and tight. It has recently been traded by its Jaguar enthusiast collector towards another classic Jaguar convertible from Autosport Designsβ inventory. This XJS is complete with its original books and keys. A recent road test attests to the car performing flawlessly in every way and it is ready for immediate use and enjoyment. This is an opportunity to purchase a relatively inexpensive, elegant Jaguar convertible for touring pleasure.
