This is one of the nicest jaguar XJS. The family has owned it for 23 years and it has been garage kept and is in impeccable shape. The top and headliner are new. The owner passed away and I got the vehicle from the family. I replaced all of the rubber fuel injection hoses. I replaced the cooling fan which was Brittle.
The quietest XJS 12 cylinder I have ever owned. The heating system works flawlessly but the air is not ice cold. Tap goes up and down perfectly. Car has no leaks as the rubber seals around the tops and windows have been replaced as well. There was an error when the title was transferred and the daughter did not catch it because the car actually has only 82,000 miles and we don’t know why DMV stamped it at 120,000. She gave me a signed statement indicating the error.
The wheels have no pits and they’re like new. The interior and wood are in beautiful shape with minor wear on the driver seat. The radio has been upgraded and there is a CD changer hidden behind the seat. No idiot lights. No cooling issues.
Drive anywhere it is in appreciating classic and as I said one of the nicest. Title does not say salvage.
