This wonderful old Mk II has spent its entire life with one family in La Jolla, California. It has obviously been cherished and cared for throughout 50 years of ownership, and has been driven only 50,642 miles from new. The car has been well serviced and maintained, including recent tires and a stainless steel exhaust. At some point in the distant past, presumably as a result of a lifetime in the baking Southern California sun, the Mk II was treated to a repaint. Although the paint is shiny and presents quite well, it is only of ‘driver quality’. Furthermore, whoever painted the car did not quite recapture the original Opalescent Silver Blue hue, so the color is a little darker than it would have been when new.
