restored and simply stunning 1961 Jaguar Mark II 3.8L Sports Sedan with just under 4K miles on the rebuild and full ground up restoration! The car originally had a 3.4L engine which was upgraded to the current and more powerful 3.8L twin cam straight six engine some years ago. As any enthusiast will confirm, restoring any Mark II is an expensive proposition due to the complexity of the car’s structure and the skill required to lead joints and smooth imperfections and this restoration was second to none. The car also boasts a correct original 4 speed manual Moss Box unit transmission with overdrive as opposed to the standard 5 speed conversions installed and plentiful in many of these restored cars. Many hours were obviously invested in this particular car’s restoration by a renown restorer with parts receipts and records available and the car would have to be considered still in close to concours condition with only some 4K miles on the build and with work completed including:

Rebuilt 3.8L engine with 50lbs at speed & no leaks
New clutch
New shocks
New wiring harness
Instruments cleaned & calibrated
