Just in this 1955 XK140 Drop Head Coupe. Our Stock #154. We purchased this car from a fellow in upper state New York, who had full intentions of restoring it. A familiar story. The car left the factory as right hand drive XK140, the chassis number is 807075 and as you can see it was converted to a left hand drive car. The chassis number is the 75th right drive XK140 drop head coupe produced. The engine number of the car is G2702-8. The body # is P3387 and the gearbox number is JL17806. The chassis of the car is very solid. The doors and the rear clip are solid as well. The front clip is going to need work on it. The aluminum bonnet is in good shape. All the instruments and gauges are intact and correct for the car. The hood frame is in good order. We don’t believe the seats to be original. We have a box of misc. bits and pieces that come with the car not shown. The car is being sold for restoration. It steers and rolls fine so it can be transported easily.
