Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1954 Jaguar XK-120 DHC. Numbers matching, four speed manual transmission in Carmen Red with Tan Connolly leather interior & boot, tan canvas top and burl walnut dash. Per Heritage Certificate it was Originally delivered to Hornburg Jaguar in Los Angeles and we’re told shipped to Arizona. A complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration was performed by Robert Dahlberg in Crawford, Colorado in the early 1980s at 50,000 miles. It was purchased from a New York exotic car dealer in 1986 with 52,309 miles. It has been in a private collection for the past thirty years, stored in a climate-controlled garage. Β Current mileage is 52,975. For the past thirty years the vehicle was maintained by a British sports car expert mechanic. Recently it has undergone a major mechanical service including the replacement of all fluids, filters, tune-up and the inspection of the fuel pump, lines, and carburetors. The clutch cross shaft, bushings, and springs were also attended to. Runs and drives well with good power, nice gearbox and clutch, etc. Great body with above decent paint. good solid underside. Soft top is functional but has a small patch and the roof liner has stains and is detached in part at the bottom in the back.
